StartX is a 501(c)(3) Stanford-affiliated nonprofit in Silicon Valley that runs one of the world’s top startup accelerator programs. Its mission is to advance the development of the best entrepreneurs through experiential education and peer learning. Since launching in 2010, StartX has supported more than 500 companies and 1500 entrepreneurs, from early to pre-IPO stage, working across a wide spectrum of industries. Product Design/Development (Software):•Lead UX/UI design for mobile app suite; consisting of iPhone, Android and iPad apps.Iterated through multiple versions over the course of 3 years.•Managed teams of multiple sizes and circumstances; from single-developer to full-stack remote(Sri Lanka) developers. Set timelines and laid out key deliverables for developmentProduct Design/Development (Hardware):•Designed a physical product suite utilizing dozens of materials and multiple design types(3D Modeling, Tech Packs, etc). Matt was awarded a patent for the Finesse product, "SomaSole" •Worked with a team based in Shanghai, comprised of multiple engineers, designers, and PMs, to deliver high quality products.
