Working a hybrid remote/office role as part of a dynamic start-up, supporting a small team of developers. The team is responsible for maintaining and developing a management system for global insurance underwriters including Aviva (UK), TMG (Japan), Sura (Aus.), and Starr (USA).

Worked as part of a small team of software testers supporting an agile development team based in both the UK and India. The team was responsible for maintaining a highly customisable Field Service Management (FSM) solution, handling the administration of logistics across various industries such as housing, maintenance, medical, and energy production.Initially an on-site position, this transitioned to a remote and then hybrid work pattern to fit company needs.

I was promoted to Test Engineer within my first year at Inview. I continued to perform testing duties to help produce high quality Smart TV software on low cost Set-Top-Box hardware, including testing of our web-based management consoles and use of the Insomnia REST client. This testing covered the full development life-cycle, from client requirement outline to field maintenance.Duties included the creation of test specifications based on client requirements, the documentation of test procedures, and the creation of new test processes. The role also involved the creation of testing assets using publically available editing packages and specialist software developed in-house.Through testing products developed and used worldwide I have liaised with and supported developers and testers whose primary language is not English.

Working as a junior member in the test team I carried out manual testing of existing specifications. During this time I gained a practical understanding of the testing process and the technical language required to describe bugs to developers and other testers.Both positions at Inview involved manual and automated testing in a waterfall development environment. Specialising in User Acceptance Testing, Functional Testing, and Regression Testing, the roles required me to log, manage, and follow-up on issues found.

A permanent, full-time role as a member of an International Payments Desk, which offered specialist support to customers who were making international payments and FX transfers. Joining the team in the weeks following the Brexit referendum was an exciting and engaging challenge.

A full-time role working as an accounts advisor as part of bet365’s English Customer Service Team. Duties include handling customer queries by telephone, email and instant messaging, liaising with internal departments, and basic technical support.Handling communication with customers from all around the world, this role involved staying up to date not only with the sporting world, but also the ever-evolving range of customer payment services available.

Working full time in the Family Law section of the busy Stoke-on-Trent Combined Court Centre office. I provided a helpful, prompt and polite service to the Court's external customers via telephone, fax, email and post. I received training in processing a divorce petition from initial application to completion. The training and subsequent workload involved communicating with the Court's customers, the District and Circuit Judges and other sections within the Court office.This temporary position was via the recruitment agency Brook Street.

Working with the store manager and other supervisors, duties include staff organisation and delegation of tasks within the store, as well as stock control, branch banking, store layout decisions and security.
