Duties include: taking and fulfilling orders from customers; ;providing and exceeding standards of customer service ;safely handling currency, food, and alcoholic drinks; keeping the work area clean; and working fluidly with coworkers.Skills used and acquired include: meeting new people frequently throughout each day; interacting with customers based on the perceived level of interaction they wish to have or not have with their server; multitasking; communicating with and reacting to the needs of coworkers; and guiding and managing new and less experienced coworkers.
