He developed a concentrate reconciliation system that vastly improved concentrate inventory reconciliation and reduced losses, caught mistakes and reduced the time required to reconcile inventory. Matt was very good at establishing and standardizing practices in both the quality function and as the production manager. He excelled at preparing for audits and documenting SOP's and driving them into practice. He is an expert at LTS and R.O. water filtration, packaging, processing, inventory handling and reporting, and quality leadership. He had a very good understanding of cost resposibiltiy, budgeting, capital planning and plant sustainability. Matt also had a great deal of knowledge in safety, and environmental compliance. Matt was a manager you could count on. He was willing to jump in and help where and when needed."
