Manage day to day strategic development and operational activities on behalf of LTF. Due to the nature of some aspects of the organisations work, a requirement to be able to effectively communicate with all stakeholders from statutory bodies to members of the public, to develop realistic action plans to tackle, head on, significant concerns of the local community. The organisation aims to use behavioural change techniques to create sustainable long term solutions to concerns identified.

As a care consultant I work to improve the services provided to Children and Young people who are looked after. As a care leaver my experience gives me the passion to assist driving change to systems through coproducing services and training staff with a variety of learning techniques. My work has involved ensuring the voice of the young person are a the heart of everything people do along with being a member of an expert group developing guidance on social care record keeping and a member of an expert group developing mental health pathways for looked after children and care leavers.

To work with LA's and CL's to develop the Gold Standard of Leaving Care services.

To assess services that are provided by Local Authorities, Private and Voluntary organisations to looked after children and young people against a set of seven standards - the aim is to improve all services provided inline with views and opinions of looked after children and young people. The project has now transformed into a non for profit business and I will be employed on a Freelance basis as and when required.

My role was to liaise with all 14 West Midlands local authorities to create and maintain a contact person so the charity could contact them regarding campaigns along with their support for these campaigns. I also visited 13 of the Authorities Children in Care Council's and met members of them. I made a professional relationship with these young people and coordinated a regional forum meeting which each authority were invited to. The role ended due to the Funding being withdrawn.

Within this role I helped to manage projects from start to finish whether it be a training package or a celebration event. I had shared responsibilities for managing a team of 11 young people aged 10-25 dealing with things from their appraisals to dealing with disciplinary matters. Furthermore I completed the majority of the administration work required by the Council and co-managed the budget. In this role I was required to provide a highly professional service as I worked alongside the Director of Children’s services and the local politicians. My duties on the council where to overview and scrutinize services provided by the authority in-line with young people’s views’ against the council Pledge. Towards the end of my term as Co-chair I had responsibility for every aspect of the Council.

Main duties were to handle packages, x-ray them before loading them into containers to be shipped via plane. Left due to personal move.
