I sit within the planning division and specialise in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). I am primarily involved in the preparation of EIA Screening requests, Scoping Reports and Environmental Statements, as well as the co-ordination and management of the EIA process and consultant teams.

Working within the Strategic Projects team, I was involved in telecoms, energy and infrastructure projects. My role evolved from a GIS analyst to Wayleave Officer and Project Manager where I was responsible for the day to day management of a Wayleave contract with a key utilities client. Responsibilities included:• Project Coordination, landlord negotiation, regular client liaison and reporting. • Data analysis and monitoring project finances. • Managing other colleagues and workloads within the team. • Report writing and attending public consultations.• Site surveys and feasibility studies for large scale ground mount solar developments.Key skills acquired:• Negotiation skills, through securing over 60 Wayleaves for fibre optic cables.• Effective time management, demonstrated by working on multiple projects at a time whilst maintaining deadlines and quality. • Effective verbal and written communication, through liaison with multiple stakeholders.
