Matt Luka joined Trombley & Hanes, P.A. in 2004, after serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Mark A. Pizzo, United States Magistrate Judge, United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, for the previous two years. Matt practices primarily in the areas of federal and state criminal defense, business crimes, torts and other types of civil litigation. Matt was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1976, and grew up in Orlando, Florida. Matt received his B.A. from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, in 1998, and went on to law school at the University of Florida where he graduated with honors in 2001. Matt is currently a member of the Washington and Lee Alumni Admissions Committee for the Tampa Bay area. Matt is a member of the Florida Bar and is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Matt is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association, the Herbert G.
