Matt Swanson, cofounder of Drinkin'Buds Beverages, is always looking toward new horizons. As a Marine Corps combat veteran, he led a team of Marines on FRAGO missions during the Iraqi invasion in 2003. He also served as a personal security liaison for General Mattis and General Kelly in the Middle East. After the Marine Corps, Matt worked in warehousing logistics and entered a masters program in physical geography and environmental policy, which led him to managing a large agricultural sales territory in eastern Wisconsin for Bayer Crop Science. Matt has maintained a lifelong focus on physical training and is an accomplished international powerlifter with current American and World records. He is a national powerlifting official, meet director, and champion for high school and youth barbell sports.
