Enjoying a successful career within the IT industry, I am effective in providing leadership and direction in developing and faciliating informative and educational curriculum in Information Technology, Accounting and Governance and Electrical Engineering. I have the technical and business acumen to facilitate courses at all levels from introduction to master’s level, and I have a reputation for building collaboration across campuses to achieve the common goal of providing students with optimal learning experiences. What inspires me most is developing engaging and hands-on activities that enhance learning outcomes for students. I have worked closely with students from diverse cultures, ages, backgrounds and learning levels and have a deep commitment to empowering them to achieve their academic goals. I consistently achieve 4.75 / 5 or higher on my teacher evaluations and am proud of receiving the Lecturer of the Year Award in 2013 from UNIJOBS as one of the top 10 out of 30,000+ academic and lecturing staff in Australia. Always striving for excellence, I take a proactive approach to be a champion for positive change. I have spearheaded a number of projects to design leading edge programs for new majors and completely re-designed the curriculum for a key course presented to more than 1,000 students annually. I am dedicated to utilising advanced technology to further improve student advantages and led the implementation of an i-Lecturing course for new students. As a contracted faculty member, I am continually seeking challenging new opportunities to join a progressive and successful team of educators in achieving significant results for their unit.
