Developed Portfolio Manager for the Investors Observer website, including customer and administrator presentation layers and database storage. Originally written to support overnight data processing tasks as well as customer-facing IO portfolios, this subsystem was later refactored to a simpler implementation, after end user requirements changed.Wrote, tested, and corrected numerous stored procedures for user, portfolio, and site management for Investors Observer, improving several designed features with lookup tables and indexes.Implemented U.S. Patent 7,865,496 (Systems, device, and methods for searching) as SmartRead for the Market Intelligence Center using C# and SQL Server.Created recursive unit testing framework for the Investors Observer platform.Maintained overnight data download and processing tools that populate options tables used by the FBM News APIs and PDF services. These tools provide options investment ideas for investors with accounts from Fidelity and TD Ameritrade, among others.
