As part of the HRIS Team, I provided dedicated IT support to Notre Dame’s Office of Human Resources. Support includes technical management, installation, customization, and maintenance of IT-related systems in Human Resources. Provided IT project leadership for HR. Acted as technical liaison between HR and Notre Dame’s Office of Information Technology. Served as HIPAA Security Official for our department.Project Leadership: • Promote, support, and train on expanded use of Google Apps suite for HR• Co-led creation of ServiceNow Knowledge Base as a bolt-on to our HR Website• Technical lead for HR OneCampus web portal implementation• Deployed two generations of Electronic Sign-In Sheet systems for HR Reception• Developed time-saving automation of repetitive tasks in Banner ERP system using AutoHotkey• Technical lead for campus-wide SSN (Social Security Number) Remediation project

Managed the implementation of new clinical and administrative IT initiatives at Saint Anthony Memorial Hospital. Determined whether proposed applications or processes were feasible by analyzing current state and interviewing key hospital staff. Ensured that prospective new applications met AIS standards and guidelines as well as HIPAA requirements. Helped spec out and test new applications and coordinated the timing of implementations. Provided communication and ongoing support to users of hospital systems. Designed and maintained the local MIS department’s Intranet page using content management software.

Provided dedicated IT support and leadership to Whirlpool’s Global Consumer Design department (GCD). Support included technical management, procurement, installation, customization, and maintenance of all PC and Mac related hardware, software, and IT systems. Managed all IT vendor relationships and bridged the communication and comprehension gaps between GCD and Whirlpool Corporate IT.Project Leadership:• Designed and developed an online lab request tracking system using Filemaker Pro database• Conceived and implemented department-wide automated data backup system on a central server• Standardized our entire staff on OS, hardware, and industrial design software• Created, documented, and enforced department policies and procedures for data management, data transfer (via FTP site), data security, and data archiving• Developed a tracking system for all industrial design software licenses to ensure that GCD was ‘true’ with all license usage
