Mr. McCutcheon provides technical guidance and expertise for a variety of water/stormwater/wastewater related projects including municipal distribution systems, sewage collection system evaluations, green infrastructure hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and stormwater/wastewater planning activities. He also performs design, evaluation, and implementation of sanitary sewer I/I reduction programs. He uses hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software such as USEPA Stormwater Management Model (SWMM), PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS. Mr. McCutcheon integrates the modeling platforms with other analytical tools such as ArcGIS to assist with data management. In developing solutions for clients' collection systems problems, attention to capital and construction costs is important to provide clients with the most cost-effective solution.Mr. McCutcheon performs well in a team-oriented environment with a high level of personal accountability. His responsibilities include developing, monitoring, and managing project tasks, budgets, schedules, and leading a diverse team of personnel. Mr. McCutcheon has assisted and coordinated with field investigations such as CCTV inspection of sewer systems and public-source I/I testing. He supports senior-level engineers by preparing design calculations, drawings, technical and non-technical reports, and cost estimates. He is responsible for providing analysis of the potential outcome of source control programs to achieve I/I reduction. Working in a team-oriented environment helps him to communicate effectively, be cognizant of interpersonal relations, and coordinate efficiently. Mr. McCutcheon continually seeks opportunities to mentor entry-level engineers and manage sub-contractors towards the completion of project assignments.
