Strong and proven leader with The Toronto Police Service, presently working out of 43 Division, serving in the East end of Toronto. I recently transferred to 43 Division in September 2021 and previously was a member of the Public Safety Response Team for four years where we collectively with our partners strive to combat, reduce, and eradicate gun and gang violence within the City of Toronto and neighbouring communities.In addition to helping reduce gun crime through thoughtful and methodical methods we actively participate in Extreme Event Response protocols and training. Prior to PSRT I worked out of 51 Division in downtown Toronto for 10 years and served in a variety of roles.As a child I grew up in the city of Toronto and have come from a background of poverty and social housing. I have experienced first hand the numerous challenges that mental health and drug addiction brings to families.It has been my personal commitment and passion to treat everyone with the same level of respect and kindness regardless of their socio-economic background, race, religion, or personal beliefs and work diligently to remain professional in the process.All views and opinions are my own and do not represent those of the Toronto Police Service.
