The drylin Product Manager is responsible for the growth and profitability of igus line of linear bearings, lead screw systems, linear actuators and automation products in the US, Canada and Mexico. Managing a team of 3 inside technical product specialists, 3 outside sales engineers and one robotics engineer, the PM team supports the general sales teams and customers to incorporate igus products into their designs. Primary industries include lab automation, aerospace, medical device, packaging machinery, 3D printers and general automation and robotics systems. This position works closely with engineering in the development of new products as well as suppliers, operations and QC to maximize profitability and decrease lead times. The PM also assist in guiding the marketing department in content creation (technical papers, blogs, videos, etc.) and other digital marketing efforts to maximize the exposure of the products in the market.
