Painted Pony Energy (PONY) is a Canadian public natural gas exploration and production company primarily with operations in the Montney Formation of NE British Columbia.My role as a Senior Geophysicist for PONY includes supporting an integrated subsurface technical team that uses seismic and seismic attributes to optimally place wells, interpret microseismic to both monitor induced seismicity as well as completion types, and to use DecisionSpace (Haliburton/Landmark interpretation software) and Seisware to aid in planning for full field development.

Two years of onshore seismic imaging on 2D and 3D projects all over North America. Major skills involved in this assignment were operating a complex imaging workflow, integrating with the various asset teams and delivering a quality product on time.Two years as a seismic interpreter; working with 2D seismic, 3D seismic, near surface tomography and near surface electromagnetic data. Significant achievements in this role include building a comprehensive drilling risk analysis using geophysical methods and integrating with all disciplines involved in unconventional exploration.
