Just going through life paying way too much attention to font choice and kerning. My passion really comes through in designing a full layout for an app or website, blah blah blah. The fact of the matter is I really like to design a myriad of different things, but Matt no no you're supposed to niche down. No! I like to design things ranging from apps, websites, down to helping out a company in their branding strategy with some sick printables. I do spend the majority of my time deciphering the best route a new person would take if they were to use my app so I guess that makes me a pretty good UI/UX Designer. Living in a small town I have had to learn about web development a lot more than I thought because it's a lot easier in a small town to sell a new website than to try to convince them they could use a new app even though that would be pretty sweet to design!I've been in this game for something like 12+ years now and my favorite thing to do is learn new trends and skills. It actually really annoys my wife, because she's all like let's watch this new show on Netflix and I'm like or we could watch this 37-hour course on learning about Dart language.
