Began as simple technician doing a mass rollout/installation for St. Joseph in Lexington, Ky. of new computer systems, printers, hand scanners, and medical carts for their new Cerner health care delivery system project. Progressed rapidly to team lead and became the Site Planner for “Wave 2” at St. Joseph in Mt. Sterling, Ky. Was pulled back from Wave 2 duties to facilitate Go-Live for “Wave 1”. Go-Live work included; troubleshooting existing equipment and software as well as the newly installed, probing network issues, debugging hardware and software, and teaching users how to properly use the new equipment, which helped to result in a successful Wave 1, Cerner Go-Live.

Handled wireless and wired connections (both standard cat5 and multi-mode fiber). Operated and administrated a Nortel Norstar MICS phone system.Began standardization of their systems which included moving the mix of computers to a spure Dell environment, moving said network to a pure Cisco environment, locating unused POTS phone lines saving them $3K per month in phone charges, and began researching a new VoIP phone system that would have upgraded overall internet and network bandwidth, connected all satellite offices, and saved them $4K per year.On a daily basis; contained common software and hardware issues.
