I have worked in the accounting industry since 2007. After receiving my professional accounting designation in 2010, I entered the CICA Tax Specialist program. I spent a year studying while doing tax specialty work. Ultimately, I decided to return to accounting and assurance to become a general practitioner rather than a specialist. ​Over the years I have worked extensively with clients in the Agriculture industry. I’ve lead the local Agriculture Team at BDO and was a member of various provincial and national industry objectives. I was instrumental in creating a national agriculture benchmarking tool that helped clients analyze their financial information compared to similar farms in their region.​While Agriculture has been a big part of my experience, I have a passion for small to medium sized growing businesses.
