Practical, driven and a natural problem solver. Passionate about assisting the less fortunate in their independence.My experience in the mobility sector began in 2013 as a trainee call out engineer. This role allowed me to fine tune my previous experience of customer service, practical/logistical skills and tactful communication to suit the mobility industry. I quickly became familiar with mobility products including their function, suitability and diagnosing faults, allowing for fast and efficient repairs and client satisfaction.Covering Motability scheme contracts including the collection, refurbishment and resale of mobility scooters/powerchairs allowed me to gain a deeper technical understanding of a wide range of products. This strengthened my ability as a call out engineer and provided further insight into product suitability.Within my role I assisted with and ran multiple road shows for over six years, taking charge of logistics, setup and running of sale and hire marquis, which gave opportunity for direct sales in often hectic selling environments.In 2018 I became a certified Motability scheme assessor and subsequently completed refresher courses as required to maintain certification. My previous roles incorporated all aspects of Motability scheme requirements from assessment and sign ups, to client support and all servicing/repairs. My managerial skills have been developed through nine years experience as fisheries manager and honorary committee member of the Reigate & Redhill Angling Club. My responsibilities included arranging work parties managing up to 40 volunteers to undertake maintenance and habitat improvements, fulfilling site management requirements of Surrey Wildlife Trust.I also spent five years as fisheries manager for Horley Piscatorial Society, arranging and conducting work parties while working closely with partners and stakeholders. During this time I held a seat on the Reigate & Banstead Council Earlswood Common steering committee. These voluntary roles have been very fulfilling and aided my personal growth, developing multiple transferable skill sets.I've recently spent 18 months as a top level call out engineer/handover specialist for Mobility Giant Ltd, a company I'm proud to work for due to high standards of customer care and forward thinking management.My current role with Mobility Giant is as repair department manager, a position I hope to grow into well into the future.
