I am in charge of Comm/net's product user experience. I run the Comm/net help desk for product issues. I manage all incoming product related issue calls and assist customers with product issues. This includes troubleshooting issues, providing documentation, and the RMA process or other product replacement when necessary. I assist both outside customers as well as Comm/net installation and field staff. Comm/net had no help desk or ticketing system when I started. I have implemented a ticketing system and have begin using to improve customer service and documentation of issues to provide product issue feed back to the engineering staff. Additionally I help in the production of user documentation such as manuals, field service procedures, and other technical documentation as necessary. This includes technical writing and editing of product documentation. I also participate and provide feed back on usability for new products being developed by Comm/net. Including UI layout and mechanical design. This also includes aiding with the testing of new products.

I manage a team of eight preventive maintenance workers. Collectively our job is to ensure all classroom equipment on campus functions up to specifications and to catch problems before they affect users. I interview hire, and train new employees. As the first Preventative Maintenance Lead, I developed and continue to improve training methods and management systems for the subdivision.I maintain, troubleshoot, and repair classroom equipment ranging from overhead projectors to advanced integrated audio-visual systems. Since the creation and implementation of the Preventative Maintenance team, there have been significant drops in requests for consumables, as well as reports of common technical issues.
