Chosen by VP to travel to 8 facilities with problems to troubleshoot. Conducted start-ups and assisted with various projects. •Turfcare – Resolved excessive customer complaints during start up. Implemented an “Adopt a Store Program” allowing the DC to communicate directly with store manager to build and improve relationship as a whole.•American Standard – Drove repack down to 78 pieces, lowest in building history while managing the VAS department. Created a Stop, Drop and Roll philosophy in a massive damage reduction initiative.•Food Import Group – Organized the start-up of a new distribution center in Edison, New Jersey. Met deadline of 6 weeks to renovate a 1974 building to be AIB compliant while maintaining operational budget. Started receiving freight Jan 15th, 2007.•Cognis/Oleo (now BASF) – Formulated a new start up in Cincinnati, Ohio of a 170,000 sq. ft. facility that needed renovations. Hired staff & conducted HAZ MAT training required to ship synthetic lubricants for Shell. Received OSHA 9001 compliance license. •John Deere – Hired and trained entire new 3rd shift operation in East Moline, Illinois facility. Replenishment center for the largest tractor combine facility in the world. Met goal of producing 26 tractor combines daily up to 50 combines daily.•Ralston/Post Cereal – Supported for 9 months a new start-up in Olive Branch, Mississippi. The facility was 600,000 sq.ft; three-shift operation with 100 associates. Wrote operating procedures, conducted production meetings, reported KPIs to customer daily, improved shipping accuracy, reduced damage and infestation.•Mars Petcare – Managed the display building process at in West Jefferson, OH. The facility is approx 400,000 sq.ft. with 400 plus associates. Communicated daily with Mars Corporate on production, corrugate needs, and emergency orders for PetSmart, Wal-Mart, Sams, Meijer and Kroger.•Shell Petroleum – Assisted a complete complete ground floor start-up.
