Due to an impending SAP implementation I was asked to take on a Finance Director role within the business, in the first instance as a split role.As the business implemented SAP across 3 sites simultaneously, I became the lead on the whole project after it had run into a number of difficulties, bringing back a semblance of balance and control post go live day.Having the experiences I have gained, I also led business critical inflation discussions with Retailers at the start of 2022, successfully negotiating and supporting other sales colleagues, to recover the significant inflation seen across all industries from late 2021.

Having developed a strong relationship with Retail Buyers I was asked to head up our largest business unit with a high end retailer. The customer strategy which we developed led to significant growth of over £35m for this business unit within the first 12 months in role.

Asked to take on a buying role within the business following the departure of a colleague. Worked closely with Retail buyers developing and executing buying strategies.

Worked in both financial accounts and management account roles during this time supporting the executive team; covering compliance, board reporting, financial analysis and team management.
