America'S Powersports
I worked for America's Powersports dealership, Woods Fun Center, which is located in Austin, Texas. Woods Fun Center sold powersports, such as personal watercraft, motorcycles, ATVs, and UTVs, and carried over eight brand names with over 200 different models. My sole responsibility was to fulfill customers dreams. Sales was something that stemmed from my passion to fulfill the needs and wants of my customers. It was not always easy but I was dedicated to learning the sales process and developing product knowledge, which helped me to convey the benefits of the machines to the customer. I used a CRM to help prospect and manage the sales. I was also given sales training, which helped to portray confidence and fluidity throughout the sale process, and helped with needs identification and prospecting. I built long-lasting relationships with customers through effective but direct communication and a positive attitude. It was my responsibility to see the sales cycle from beginning to end. I was in charge of prospecting through cold calls, warm calls, and in-store visits, presenting the machine to the customer, the negotiation of the sale, closing of the sale, and the delivery of the machine. This intensive process taught me a lot about myself and presented dynamic challenges, especially during busy times of the year.
