Reporting to the CFO my responsibilities included:- act as a liaison between all departments within the company and the 20 franchise locations - manage and review the productions of monthly financial statement packages prepared for the franchise locations- ensure compliance with the franchise license agreements and mange issues and disputes as they arise- ensure timely payment of all franchise fees- look for ways to improve the current license agreement and stay abreast of current franchise information and issues- encourage franchise growth either through existing franchisees or the enlistment of new investors

· preparation of monthly financial statement package including financial statements, notes, forecasts, variance reports and analysis while consistently improving clarity and transparency of financial information for both internal management and shareholders.· management of construction budgets and progress reporting while working in conjunction with the design and construction department to ensure construction of new locations and renovation of existing locations remained within budget targets · management of annual audits and communication with the auditors including preparation of the year-end financial statements and notes, working papers, capital amortization schedules for all assets and tax returns.· manage 3 employees ensuring all training and development needs are met. · management of the annual budget preparation in conjunction with internal management and shareholders. · development of internal controls and procedures and ensuring they are followed while streamlining processes for efficiency.· development and revision of financial policies.· using advanced Microsoft Excel skills in ad hoc financial reporting and analysis providing value-added financial information to assist in management decisions.· assisting operators, designers and construction in the budgeting/monitoring process of new business construction and renovations of existing business.· assisting in the preparation of quarterly consolidated statements for various companies for use by investors and financial institutions. · Introducing potential clients to the new Point Financial business concept while providing ongoing client maintenance. · Set up and mange company employee equity trust program including calculation of quarterly distributions and valuation calculations of all purchase and sale of shares.
