As Team Leader, I looked after 24 agents, using all I have learnt from working as an agent to open up a new call centre in Taunton and create a new division of EMCAS. I took many courses within HR legislation and how to hire, coach and maintain staff levels. I was tasked with building a call centre from scratch along with my Call Centre Manager. This involved sourcing the candidates within the region, interviewing the candidates for my team and then work with the hiring and onboarding process. I then had the task of training my team, motivating, training and guiding the team towards success. This involved 121 meetings, ongoing sales training, support and help with where they wanted to be in their career. I was fully responsible for my team and responsible for the HR duties including, holidays, absence, disciplinary actions. Monitoring phone calls to keep all agents in line with compliance and the companies ethics, whilst also coaching agents to allow them to become successful in the sales process. I also had to hit KPI’s of my own and monthly team sales.
