Matt is a U.S. Navy veteran and California Barred attorney who served as a Judge Advocate General for 10 years. He currently serves as a Lieutenant Commander in the Navy JAG Corp reserves. He brings his unique experience advising our nation’s top military leaders on time-sensitive, high-profile legal issues. Leveraging his extensive legal training and advocacy skills, Matt delivers advocacy and advice to business leaders on their real estate decisions, demonstrating a response time, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellence that is second to none.Specializing in representing life science, industrial and office tenants with their corporate real estate needs, Matt’s services include site selection, strategic planning and needs assessment, financial analysis, negotiation, and transaction structuring for lease renewals, relocations, renegotiations, and building purchases.Matt graduated with honors with a B.A. in business administration from Point Loma Nazarene University, and holds a Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles school of law. He was a four-year letter winner and captain of the PLNU basketball team, and during his basketball career at PLNU he was named to the Academic All-American and All-American teams.When he’s not working, Matt enjoys skiing, hiking, yoga, anything at the beach, following the latest developments in the visual arts, and spending as much time as possible with his wife, Elise, and son, Banks.
