About Matt Scase

Currently Visitor Centre & Events Assistant within the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust. A big lover of all things nature, and will almost always spend my free time outside.Working with the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust at Rutland Water has been such a lovely job to be doing. During this time I have been lucky to get in many aspects of the Trust including the visitor centre at Lyndon, and the amazing volunteers that do so much for nature across both counties. Perhaps the highlight was in 2024 getting the opportunity to help ring the Osprey on the Manton Bay Nest.My background comes from the field of Mathematics, and I have developed strong admin skills in the various roles I have undertaken. I have a good understanding of the charity sector having also worked with various educational organisations over the years.
