I've been providing financial education for more than 30 years in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors and I'm excited to be launching my practice in a way that better serves the unique needs of my clients. My business partners and I love serving those who serve!Thanks to some friends I sort of stumbled into becoming a financial advisor, but immediately after beginning my career in financial advising and coaching, I knew beyond all doubt that this is the reason I was put on this earth - to help others with their money. I have found that my role is that of a financial life coach. Because money touches all aspects of our lives, I advise on much more than investments, insurance, and wealth strategies. I have the privilege of walking through all the ups and downs of life, helping my clients enrich their lives as they work towards their goals.We start our planning process with your goals and motivations, build a plan curated to your needs and lifestyle, and tie everything back to your personal values to guide us along the way. I enjoy helping clients improve their relationship with money and to help them make decisions about finances that align with what is important to them. The theme of my life has been to educate others about money. Other than maybe KU basketball, it is my #1 passion!Unfortunately, it’s not something that is widely addressed in schools, spiritual communities, or families. Money is always such a taboo subject so, I’ve devoted my career to helping my clients develop a healthy knowledge of money and being their partner in making challenging and rewarding decisions involving money. I don’t think finances should be complicated. There are many complexities involved in investing, product-specific information, and industry jargon, but the foundation is simple.
