As the owner of "Shaw Cutz," a hair-cutting business started in March 2020 at the beginning of the COVID pandemic, I have acquired a range of skills that have helped me grow my business to a full-fledged barbershop studio in my basement. Initially, I started my business cutting hair in my friend's garage outside and offering free haircuts to get people in the door.Over the past three years, I have honed my skills as a barber and grown my business through word-of-mouth referrals and social media marketing. Through cutting hair, I have been fortunate enough to network and meet people from all over the world. In addition to running my own business, I have worked at several well-known barbershops over the past few years, including Define Hair Studio, The Gold Barbershop, and Fade Zone. These experiences have helped me refine my skills as a barber, learn about different cutting techniques and styles, and build a network of clients and colleagues in the industry.Today, I am proud to say that "Shaw Cutz" is a thriving barbershop studio with a loyal client base and a strong reputation in the community. Responsible for selling Congo Brands: Prime Hydration and Energy and Alani Beverages to accounts throughout the Altantic Canadian

As a Student Marketeer, I aid in building awareness of the brand on campuses and in Halifax. I am in charge of assisting with sales support to make sure the brand is presented at a premium level, as well as assisting with the planning and promotion of Red Bull Sponsored Events in the region. I promote the brand by making it available to students and Halifax residents. Finally, I leverage my social media presence to grow the brand and its audience.
