My three decades of retail experience begin on the sales floor and culminate as a merchandiser for some of the world's largest outdoor retailers, responsible for tens of millions of dollars in sales annually. I've also worked directly with scores of small retailers as an independent agent for some of the bike industry's largest and most well-respected brands. Literally thousands of meetings with small retailers provide me with an unparalleled understanding of the unique merchandising challenges of today's small business owners, and I thrive on bringing all that I've learned thus far to help them meet these challenges.While a certain degree of self-aggrandizement seems to be required in this medium, the truth is that the success that I've had has been in large part due to the many great bosses, supportive peers, and cheerleading loved ones that have surrounded me along the way. Perhaps I can repay the debt that I owe them by helping others find their own success.
