Automate all the things! If there's not a button or automated solution for it, there will be. That's how I feel about all the repetitive tasks that we deal with everyday. Being passionate and tenacious about DevOps and the work involved in this field makes work feel more like fun. I have enjoyed working for startups because it's easy to make a very large impact in a short amount of time. Quickly providing value to small to medium businesses that have a need for right-sized, fault-tolerant, highly available, scalable, and secure infrastructure is my jam.I bring 16 years of IT and System Administration experience to the table. The last 8 of those years was spent providing and automating solutions on AWS. These solutions served several Fortune 500 businesses who were customers and/or partners. Looking into the future of my career, I'm really interested in sharing the knowledge that I've picked up along the way and look forward to learning just as much from my teammates. From configuring switches, routers, firewalls, databases, active directory domains in my early days to automating end to end deployments & infrastructure, participating in code reviews, working with performance engineers to find what's changed, and answering 100's of Consensus Assessments Initiative Questionnaire assessments I have developed a well rounded view of all things IT and Infrastructure. The culmination of those experiences and interactions are what makes me who I am today and I couldn't be more grateful.
