- Performance profiled Golang api increasing capacity by ~200% & decreasing avg response time by ~50%. Improved user experience by reducing the response time for tutor searches.- Built video post-processing Golang api used by tutors to upload almost 4,000 videos to youtube. Enabled tutors a way to both differentiate themselves & give more complete answers to students on the Wyzant Q&A platform- Co-wrote RabbitMQ Golang client library, including construction of auto-retry error handling. Auto-retry logic meant less time spent by engineers manually replaying message which had failed due to a temporary error.

- Built search structure in tutor search Golang api, backed by elasticsearch- Refactored ETL process to be run concurrently, improving run time from ~5 hours to ~1 hour. This shortened the feedback time for our team & helped us to deploy changes more quickly to production.
