#OneTeamOneDreamThe Philadelphia Mans Basketball League (PMBL) hopes you will join us in helping make possible the Fourth Annual Treasure Beach Jamaican Youth Basketball Camp in St. Elizabeth Parish, Jamaica. Your generous support will make this summer's camp a huge success!!Over the five-day camp, held the 2nd week of August, over 1100 of the island's under-served and underprivileged rural youths (ages 5-18) will participate in individual and group clinics, shooting and skills competitions, team practices, and games. The coaches and camp counselors will include current NCAA coaches, former Division 1,2 & 3 NCAA basketball players, current Philadelphia high school coaches, and many of the of the young professionals who help comprise the PMBL. As a result of the fundraising efforts for the previous three PMBL Treasure Beach Jamaican Youth Basketball Camp, we were able to raise enough money to provide solar-powered lighting, an irrigation system for the sports park, eight (8) portable basketball hoops, four (4) portable weather-proof sets of bleachers, four (4) weather proof portable team benches, and an industrial mower to better improve the grounds of the camp and safety of the children. Your generosity will directly assist the Treasure Beach community by supporting the infrastructure and continued growth of the Breds Treasure Beach Sports Park & Academy. With your help and support we will be able to further the PMBL's mission of using basketball as vehicle for positive change. What is the Breds Treasure Foundation?The Breds Treasure Beach Foundation is a wholly volunteer-based charitable organization run by members of the community, for the benefit of the community in Treasure Beach, a small, rural enclave on Jamaica’s undeveloped South Coast where fishing and farming are still common ways of life.
