- Projects Budget: Up to $75K.- Provide project management expertise for single intermediate-sized or several smaller projects.- Projects can span multiple locations and subcontractors as required.- Supervise project(s) and/or the unit work force. - Hardware Commodity Team Lead- Manage over 2000 parts worth $5 miilion - Completed putting 1350 parts on contract with suppliers resulting in a $270k savings.- Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refer to policies and practices for guidance. Work on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors. Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Negotiate and settle with suppliers regarding rejections, losses, return of materials, over shipments, cancellations and engineering changes. - Confer with vendors and analyze vendor's operations to determine factors that affect competitive total cost of ownership consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules. - Coordinate with the accounting department as required to resolve questions on supplier invoices. - Build productive working relationships internally and externally.
