We re-branded from ZephIR to ZX Lidars earlier in 2018 and as the use of wind lidars increases globally we remain at the forefront of the industry; exploring and delivering ways that these wind measurement tools can add value to all stages of a wind power plant. We work directly and with resellers around the world to deliver the most convenient and cost effective way to access these valuable wind measurements.Our latest turbine mounted product continues to offer the most comprehensive characterisation of the incoming wind to a turbine, whether this is for assessing performance or informing controls, being able to see the full shear, veer and complexity of the flow is incredibly valuable.It’s not all wind industry, wherever there is a need to know the characteristics of wind from ground level to 200+m above the ground then we have a useful, valuable and reliable measurement device. Having been involved with these excellent lidar products for the last decade I continue to manage the best way to convey these benefits, deliver these products and work towards the widest acceptance possible of this rich data source.

ZephIR Lidar continues to grow offering the now well established and understood ZephIR 300 and ZephIR DM products.The acceptance of lidar (and specifically ZephIR Lidar) has grown over the years and we continue to promote the benefits of this technology for wind resource assessment, site characterisation and operational performance/optimisation work. The wind industry itself is increasingly adopting the use of ZephIR, it is accepted as financeable data, and more importantly it allows for greater understanding of wind conditions for proposed and operating sites - leading to a smarter wind business.This is a global product, developed and built by our great team, deployed in every conceivable environment. The advancements in the use of ZephIR on floating buoys/platforms has been an are of particular interest to me over the years and I am pleased to see the increased adoption into a range of solutions that are reducing the cost of offshore wind without compromising the end users data needs. All of this relates to the my ongoing work looking to promote the benefits of ZephIR lidar to potential customers whilst working closely with the wind industry to ensure we deliver the product and evidence required for increased adoption of these measurements. It's not always the wind industry but I continue to focus on this predominantly.I am proud of how the whole team not only delivers a quality product; it also looks after all of our customers.Long may this team continue to grow

International responsibility for the sales of ZephIR Lidar Anemometers to the wind industry.Traditionally there have been cup anemometers mounted on masts, then there came Sodar anemometers but these have never been considered bankable and can have issues with availability, then came Lidar - specifically ZephIR has ploughed the way to get industry recognition for this more complex understanding of the wind, reducing the uncertainty and ultimately the risks of predicting wind resources and poiwer yields for wind farms.This UK export benefits not only from the team keeping a practical perspective by managing a fleet of rental units, it also has the wider consultancy expertise of Natural Power adding value to the interpretation of data and methodologies for measurement.

Attracted and maintained Foreign Direct Investment in the South West of England. Managing overseas representatives and direct staff to achieve this. Working with and developing coherent strategies with partnership organisations at a local, county and national level.
