Hello, I do not want this to look like an item description on eBay.I have spent 30 years within the aggregates and haulage industry, of which I have been employed within the recycling and waste worlds.These years have taught many aspects and skills , however my main credentials are. Never asking someone to do something that I would not be willing or able to do myself that I would feel competent.Always treat people as you wish to be treated yourself, however that was from since I was a child.I have a yearning to learn new skills and industry or how it can be improved for the better. In recent years, my knowledge of recycling, aggregate recycling, demolition, haulage and construction management has been increased. This means that I generally speak to customers in a way that is best practice, legal and cost effective, looking at each project from a view that it was my own company carrying out the project. Therefore ensuring safe, legislative and cost effectiveness to a level that I would hope would be delivered to myself should roles be reversed.My current role is quite varied, and it is something that I love, as you never know what may happen next, and it is something that you would not have thought of at school, becoming a muckshifter! Having worked within all the different roles within the industries and where they cross over ,has allowed me to view all angles of a scheme, whether it be groundworkers, tipper driving, machine operator or managerially, I don't claim to know it all, but keen to learn through whatever means, to make me a better person/friend/employer/employee etc.I endeavour to improve the state of mental health within the area that I/we are employed. You are never too important not to be nice to people. A simple line that a number of people have sadly forgotten.Manners cost nothing, and I feel that people need to live in the real world, and mistakes will happen.
