Tracked and traced incoming cargo via Cargowise for a diverse client base. Each shipment involved communicating with clients, shipping lines, ports across the US, and shippers to obtain the required documents to get releases from US Customs and shipping lines. Worked on full-container, reefer, and less-than-container (LCL) loads. Negotiated inland freight rates with various trucking agencies to get the customer their best option. Communicated changing container status as per each client’s needs. Responded to incoming client needs ASAP. Proactively communicated with external and internal clients to resolve problems quickly. Communicated with clients regarding difficult situations that could arise in ocean shipping (delays, shipment loss or damage, and changing port requirements). Paid required fees for arrival notices, invoices, demurrage, and detention. Processed outgoing bills to clients.

My primary responsibility was to edit and schedule articles submitted by authors to Windows Central, Android Central, iMore, and TechnoBuffalo. I was to correct the article's grammar and ensure it was clear, concise, and correct. In addition, I made sure that the article was properly formatted and optimized results on Google searches. I have also authored articles for the company.

Coordinated with Suntrust document specialists to maintain and ensure proper records imaging and records keeping standards, with an understanding of both end-user needs and requirements and the required business practices in place. Disseminated incoming record material to internal departments and individuals, including the Collateral Services Department and documentation specialists. Served as a dedicated liaison to outside clients, ensuring timely delivery of proper records required for audit purposes and reinforcing the client's full comfort and satisfaction with Suntrust services. Accomplishments during my tenure included facilitating a massive records pull from an off-site warehouse in Richmond, leading to the ability to expand and ultimately expedite the multi-million dollar sale of leases regularly, improving security and internal team familiarity by building a log of current employees for the office to reference, and arranging a visit with the team servicing the Richmond records, which led to an increase in rapport and the instruction and implementation of better records procedures more closely aligned with the top standards in place in the Towson office.
