Mr. Steele has 36 years of experience in management, including construction/resident management, resource management, environmental planning, State and Federal transportation government relations, and policy formulation and implementation. Mr. Steele was responsible for NEPA coordination with FHWA, FTA and FAA, MaineDOT's Bureau of Planning, Offices of Passenger and Freight Transportation for EAs and EISs and with the Bureaus of Project Development and Maintenance & Operation for all types of Categorical Exclusions and State and Federal regulatory permit authorization. Currently Mr. Steele is the Kleinfelder's Area Manager for the Augusta, Portland ME and Manchester, NH Offices. He manages the Construction Inspection Services with a Team of over 70 members in the region.The Kleinfelder construction, Inspector Program , is serving our construction partners on construction inspection and documentation requirements for all State and Federal STDs. Mr. Steele currently oversees a team of 40 Residents and inspectors supporting these valued customers.
