I'm the Creative Director at Spectas, a major display supplier based in Chattanooga, TN. I guide the design process from idea to workable concept and help cultivate good design practices throughout a display's gestation, helping to foster a company-wide culture of design. I also spearhead and manage the company's marketing efforts through a multitude of channels. My designs, display and otherwise, have been adopted by companies as diverse as Campbell's Foods, PepsiCo, Lowe's Home Improvement, Frito Lay, Mattel, RJ Reynolds, Eclipse Aerospace, Luhrs Yachts and Dell Inc.I have experience in display and product design, and a proven track record of successfully managing a high-level creative team. I have hired, on-boarded and trained several entry-level designers to a high level of proficiency in the POP industry. In my spare time I enjoy playing board games or watching old MST3K episodes with my daughter, discussing all things Formula 1 with my son, tinkering with my 1972 Datsun 240Z's SU carburetors, conversations about nerdy things, and lacing up my shoes for a good 3-mile run.
