CurrentMatt joined the Anglebrook Golf Club as General Manager in 2006, and has continued his mission to grow the private club’s member base, and elevate the club’s status as one of Westchester’s elite venues. Now a 30-year golf industry veteran, Sullivan guided Anglebrook to the first profitable year in the club’s brief history and continues to carve his niche in the best market for private clubs in the world. Anglebrook opened in 1998 and quickly earned a national reputation for its classic design, supreme conditioning and spectacular vistas. The last signature design by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Anglebrook was ranked the 16th best course in New York State by Golf Digest in 1999. Prior to entering the club business, Sullivan spent 10 years as a sportswriter and editor. He did extended stints at Newsday and LINKS Magazine, and has written for TIME, Sports Illustrated, Goal Magazine, and hundreds of other publications over the years. Matt has done consulting work for several private golf and fitness clubs in the Metropolitan area. While he played Augusta National, Pine Valley and St. Andrews all in the same calendar year, he reminds anyone who asks that his best golf is in front of him.Active in the Robert Trent Jones, Sr., Society.And despite traveling the globe in pursuit of par, one of Matt's favorite accomplishments is being name the Most Valuable Player at the Mark Messier Leadership Camp in 2013.
