Fly is a place to explore my belief in the transformative power of community and ecology. It’s a 5.6 square mile (3.6K acres) space where we’re not only restoring land but redefining our relationship with it. Turning an abandoned junkyard into a participatory art park, community center, and ecological reserve has shown me how collective action can breathe life into what was once overlooked. Through this work, I’m driven by a vision of resilience and possibility—a place where people come together to create a sustainable future.Through our membership program, 2,000 Stewards now manage Fly Ranch programs that enable 50 - 300 people a week to visit Fly Ranch eight months a year. I managed LAGI at Fly Ranch, an international design challenge with 800 participants who created 185 proposals focused on regenerative systems for food, water, power, and shelter.
