I'm a structural engineer with a big passion for adaptive reuse, collaborating closely with owners, architects, and other clients to realize solutions that transform and modernize spaces while preserving the historic fabric that makes them unique.I have worked with the Renewal and Structures groups at Thornton Tomasetti (TT) since 2013, leading teams of engineers in both the Chicago and San Francisco offices in devising creative structural solutions for both new and existing buildings; from the structural evaluation of historic sports stadiums, to the design of new theater and art spaces intended to harmonize with existing buildings, to the relocation of a National Register-listed, 1000-ton masonry house.
