I enjoy a role which allows me to have hands-on leadership and high-level influence, and ensure my team has impact on building products which are great for the people that use them, and great for pushing forward business goals.I shape and implement research strategies that span from participant recruitment to delivering actionable insights, partnering with product, data, and senior leadership to guide strategic decision-making. By aligning user insights with business priorities, I ensure that the work we do in our Design team has direct links to, and influences our long-term vision and strategy, and continually drives customer satisfaction.A core part of my role is building and maintaining a collaborative and inclusive environment where Design, Product, and Engineering work hand-in-hand from discovery to delivery. Building scalable, user-centered design systems is a continuous focus, creating consistency and efficiency across products and providing a seamless experience for both internal users and customers. Accessibility is prioritised as an essential part of our process, championing best practices and guiding our design efforts to ensure inclusivity is at the heart of our work.As well as leading all recruitment efforts of Designers onto the team, their onboarding, and then their continued growth as Designers, I love to mentor and coach, and support people doing Design things across the business, who might not be in specific Design roles.
