I am a Marine Engineer who loves to learn about almost anything, but most of all, about the engineering field itself. I have been working on the Great Lakes for almost 10 years, have met many great people and have had many great mentors. Beginning with the freighters, I became aquatinted with deck operations and procedures while holding a strong interest in the mechanical aspect of the vessel. After spending some time with engineering personnel I was inspired to obtain my QMED endorsement, and haven’t stopped since. I have since worked with a tug/barge company dredging on the Great Lakes and most recently work as an Assistant Engineer for a government vessel on Lake Superior. I hold an Assistant Engineer Limited license and many other engine room endorsements. Being very ambitious and career oriented with a constant will to succeed is a part of who I am. Safety, company values, and mission are always at the forefront of my mind. I look forward to experiencing the joys and also the challenges of continuing my career in the Maritime Industry.
