My most recent focus has been management of multiple PFAS-contaminated sites which have included collecting thousands of drinking water, soil, groundwater, surface water, and surface water foam samples, along with evaluating the origin, forensics, and fate and transport of PFAS in soil, groundwater, and surface water. I have lead multiple State-wide evaluations of PFAS impacts to residential and municipal drinking water supplies, soil in various land use types, and surface water foam in various types of water bodies and also lead laboratory-scale testing of a series of PFAS treatment technologies and field-scale pilot studies for in-situ and ex-situ treatment of PFAS-contaminated water.Another exciting part of my work is being part of collaborative, community-focused teams that revitalize brownfield properties into new and vibrant, residential and/or commercial resources for the community. I enjoy working with clients as a partner to develop pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to their environmental concerns. I was previously a Strategic Technical Lead for brownfields and the co-lead of AECOM's Brownfield Technical Practice Group, tying together environmental, engineering, design, and finance services across the country. One of my strengths is working effectively with local, regional, and national clients to evaluate short- and long-term risk and planning considerations and managing environmental programs at multiple sites. Another strength is simplifying and presenting complicated environmental issues in a manner that allows clients to understand applicable regulatory considerations and identify and evaluate options and strategies to manage or mitigate risk.I have conducted numerous site assessments, including remediation projects for various chemicals that require design and implementation of phased site investigations, and processing and interpretation of large, complex datasets. My experience has included work for non-profit and public- and private-sector clients and has ranged from limited scopes of work to multi-million-dollar remediation projects.
