Working closely with colleagues in RKE, academia and industry to support, enhance and translate innovative projects at Aston University. • Actively supporting commercialisation and translational research across the Life Sciences sector from ideation to incorporation. Successful in developing ventures and creating the teams and ecosystems for them to thrive.• Working with teams to build long-term strategic relationships with partners from industry, commerce and the public sector• Develop business engagement and collaborative Research and Development programmes to support translational Life Sciences projects• Proactively support and writing bids and applications for research funding including; Innovate UK, Horizon and UKRI.• Negotiating research contracts with partner organisations.The College of Health and Life Sciences covers (but is not limited to); biosciences (molecular and cellular), neuroscience, pharmacy, optometry, psychology, and the Medical School.
