Senior Public Health Strategic Lead - Children And Young People At North East Lincolnshire Council
CurrentTo contribute to the realisation of the Council Plan, the NHS Outcomes Framework and delivery of outcomes, through the provision of advanced specialist knowledge, expertise and advice around child development and the children’s public health agenda and strategies, commissioning and related areas to improve population health, tackle health inequalities and improve outcomes for children and families.To lead the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of relevant strategies, plans and projects as appropriate To lead and manage the strategic co-ordination and further development of our strategic Starting Well and Developing Well Public Health Programmes ensuring they are underpinned by relevant intelligence and evidence base and a focus on outcomes is maintained. This includes ensuring robust project management arrangements are in place for relevant projects and workstreams within these programmes.To commission relevant services and projects, such as, School Nursing and community mothers and manage relevant contract monitoring arrangements. This also includes North East Lincolnshire Council’s duties around ensuring arrangements are in place for delivery of Health Visiting Services and its Healthy Child Programme as mandated within the Health and Social Care Act 2012. To ensure appropriate synergies and collaborations with other strategic, service and programme developments, such as, our NEL Communication, Speech and Language Strategy and the new Start for Life Programme. The role will involve working closely with a wider variety of partners and stakeholders across all sectors include neighbouring Local Authorities, NEL Integrated Care Partnership, Humber and North Yorkshire Integrated Care Board, NHS services, Early Years Providers, Schools and Colleges, Children’s Social Care and Early Help services, VCSE services, and parents, children and young people.
