I Started out in my electrical career as an electrical apprentice with a firm in Shrewsbury called Brook Electrical, I had a hard apprenticeship where I quickly learnt that a high standard of workmanship was required at all times. I enjoyed my time there and left having gained all my electrical qualification and then working for them as an electrician. I gained a position with Technology Installation Services as a junior installation technician where I started to learn a new skill set in data comms work, this gave me a much wider range of experience than I had ever had gained with my apprenticeship. As I gained experience I progressed through the ranks and ended up as a senior installation technician, running my own projects all over the country. After six years I decided that I wanted to follow my original path as an electrician. I gained a job as an installation electrician with a Telford based firm which allowed me to progress further in my electrical career and still use my skills for data comms work. After six years I decided that I wanted to be my own boss and took the plunge and became self employed, that was eight years ago! I started out carrying out small domestic jobs and gained some commercial work and to be honest I haven’t looked back! I work very hard in all aspect of my business. I can design, supply and install any electrical installation from a simple domestic job to large scale industrial and commercial project. My company is registered with NIC EIC as an approved contractor which in itself is not easy to gain and demands a high level of knowledge and workmanship to pass their stringent ways. My aim is to deliver high quality installation and maintenance work for a competitive price. I now want to increase my customer base and expand my company.
