Over 29 years of insurance industry experience, started career with Mercury Insurance Group in 1992. At Mercury, began career as a Material Damage Auto Appraiser and held various positions within the Material Damage Department. In 1994 played a key role in establishing and developing the Mercury preferred repair facility program, named the CARS Program. As the program expanded, it was taken to a national level. As the National Director of the CARS Program, managed an employee base of 50 California team members. The territory included 13 states, 650 national CARS facilities and 320 California CARS facilities. The national operation was responsible for 20,000 national auto inspection assignments per month and 3,000 California auto re-inspections per month. In addition, served in a Project Manager capacity for IT System Development & Integration as well as for Marketing & Advertisement as each pertained to Material Damage operations within Mercury. Responsible for vendor relations and negotiations as well as handling public and industry relations on behalf of the Mercury Material Damage operations. Joined the Reliant General Claims team in October 2012 to establish an in-house structured Material Damage operation. The Material Damage operation included staff appraisal, independent appraisal, total loss and salvage operations, dispatching and reporting. In addition, supervise the adjusting of property damage and coverage investigations for the bodily injury claims.
