National Account ManagerQuantum Pharma Jun 2013 - Aug 2018Role Responsibilities:• Management of National chains including Well, Morrisons, Asda, Rowlands • Managing regional and independent pharmacy groups. Along with the accounts of Wholesale customers, like Islestone, Mawdsleys and had relationships with Phoenix and DE Pharmaceuticals.• Responsible for the performance of our existing customer base and developing existing accounts to place more orders. • Negotiation of contract renewals for existing customer groups, negotiating on renewals to maintain profit levels whilst also retaining business in a very competitive market. • Large focus on prospecting independent groups throughout the North of the UK, trying to highlight points of difference in service and commercial deals to win their business. • Small sales team and therefore required to work internally with different business functions to structure the commercial proposition.Key Achievements• Secured the business of several new independent groups to Quantum since I started with the company.• Successfully retained over 95% of my customers at their annual contract renewals, throughout my 4.5 years of employment.• Promoted to look after National accounts in 2016 looking after Rowlands, Morrisons and Asda.• Helped launch several projects at Quantum including the Scottish sourcing service and Written orders campaigns• Improved compliance of 1 existing customer to show an account order growth of 50% YoY through improved relationship and identification of leakage to other suppliers.
